Family Roots

The inspiration for Christi20 comes from my grandmother, Lenore. My family’s roots run deep in the Midwest - farmers, hunters, and craftsmen who built their lives with their hands. I grew up surrounded by that spirit of making and doing. My mother sewed my school clothes; my grandmother taught me to knit and work with yarn. Lenore had a green thumb, a musical heart, and a gift for creating beauty out of the everyday. Family has been a huge influence on my life's trajectory, Christi20 is my way of trying to carry on their passions and traditions.

Christi20 is my way of staying grounded -an homage to Lenore and to the simple, enduring joy my Wisconsin family found in the land, their work, and the things they made.
